Green English
is an innovative project which combines environmental education and EFL.
It is hosted at
Casa Archilei, an ecology centre located in Fano, Italy.
Our goals here at Green English
are two-fold. We wish to provide authentic English practice;
with environmental respect, understanding and appreciation being the main
themes
of these encounters.
Our programme includes
one-day experiences for school classes, afternoon courses
and summer camps. |

We offer hands-on activities which foster
a caring and responsible attitude towards the environment.
All sessions are conducted entirely in English, with native speakers.
Activities take place within the confines of Casa Archilei, a nature
preserve, which offers an alternative from the traditional classroom
setting, to both students and teachers.
The various learning
activities have been created specifically to allow for a genuine field
experience.

Our children hold the future of our planet in their
hands. What they inherit is up to us. The programmes
here at Casa Archilei are just a start, a way to
open our eyes to the extreme urgency of our present planetary situation.
The only way to achieve this is through communication. Communication is the
key to it all. Communication that begins in the heart, highlighting not
merely individual and planetary survival, rather, individual and planetary
prosperity, as its major theme.
